HeForShe Conversation at Hong Kong University with Elizabeth Nyamayaro - Head of the UN Women HeForShe Initiative
HeforShe IMPACT Champions Committee Meeting was held in Hong Kong University to engage conversation and collaboration for change. Hong Kong University hosted HeForShe Event with guest speaker Ms. Elizabeth Nyamayaro, Senior Advisor to the Head of UN Women and Head of the UN Women HeForShe Initiative. Monette Sunga, representative of Diversity and Inclusion for Schneider Electric East Asia & Japan Zone shared Schneider Electric’s progress and achievements and the challenges that the company is facing on gender equality movement
Brazil Women Entrepreneurship Program achieved great impact on Women Economic Empowerment - United Nations Women as a pilot initiative in entrepreneurial activities. The program objects to train both men and women in the hinterlands of Bahia, in Basics in Electricity and Off-Grid Photovoltaic Systems, with a gender lens, and aims to engage women of the community in entrepreneurial activities related to electricity and energy.
