AccuSine unit was stored outdoors in temperatures below freezing. User would like to know if the unit may be started.

Product Line
AccuSine PCS+

Environment
Ambient air temperature below freezing during unit storage

Resolution
For permissible ambient air temperature ranges for AccuSine storage and operation, please refer to the Product Data Sheet of your specific model.

If the ambient air temperature is below the permissible minimum storage temperature, the HMI may become damaged due to improper storage. Gradually raise the ambient air temperature so the unit is within the permissible storage temperature range. Before starting, gradually raise the ambient air temperature so the unit is within the permissible operating temperature range. Wait to start the unit until ambient air temperature falls within permissible operating range.
If the HMI is unresponsive to touch input or otherwise damaged, it must be replaced.

If the ambient air temperature is below freezing, but above the minimum permissible storage temperature, no additional precautions are required. Before starting, gradually raise the ambient air temperature so the unit is within the permissible operating temperature range. Wait to start the unit until ambient air temperature falls within permissible operating range.
