What are Material Safety Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets (MSDS and SDS) ?

A material safety data sheet is a document that provides information on a product, namely its toxic effects, the protective measures
for avoiding overexposure or chemical hazards, and the procedures to follow in an emergency.
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) is what Safety Data Sheets (SDS) were called before the US Federal agency, OSHA, implemented
its version of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals.
For our products, circuit breakers and contactors, the document at disposal concerns mainly the SF6 gas.
