Issue:
What allows you to still change the RPI internal PID setting with the local knob on the ATV320 drive even when you have set an internal fixed PID setpoint?

Product Line:
ATV320 drive with PID setup

Environment:
All

Cause:
Programming issue

Resolution:

There is a work around for this is

The solution set up a range as an example of 0 to 5800 for PIP1 and PIP2 and level PII to no.
- PIP1=0.
- PIP2= 5800.
- PII=No
.
Then Go to the menu PID Preset References and set PR2=LI1 ( you must be in expert level for multi affectation and set also  RRS= NO).  then Set PR2= 3250 as the PID set point.

So now when the drive gets a run command with Logic input LI1 the drive will follow the PID preset set point of 3250 and the local knob will not change the PID set point.
