Issue:
What would cause the ATS22 to keep tripping the shut trip breaker and not allow you to reset an simple OLF overload fault?

Product Line:
Enclosed ATS22 with Shut trip breakers only

Environment:
All

Cause:
The shut trip will trip on any fault including the OLF which will remove power to the soft starter preventing it from timing out and resetting the fault.

Resolution:
You can temporarily remove the wire on the Soft starters R2B or R2C circuit and this will temporarily disable the shut trip coil from tripping out.   Now the Soft starter will stay powered up to reset on its own or you can manually reset the OLF by going into the PRO menu and finding ITH and setting it to OFF then power cycling the soft starter and then going back into ITH and turning it back ON again.  Do not forget to reconnect the wire on R2B or R2C when you are done.
