Video: How add a link to an external file in the Vista application for viewing on web

Vista file linking is limited, and does not allow documents to be opened

By default you cannot link to files other than  .exe .bat and .CMD.

The following method allow you to link to an unsupported file extension. 
This will enable you to access files such as user guides from the Vista application and the web. 

Please note that documents will still need its corresponding application installed to open properly. 
Example: If you need to view a  PDF file , the target machine will need Adobe reader installed to view the file properly.
