What is the difference between the SoMachine Function Block Get.Attribute.Single and Get.Attribute.All?

Published date: 04 September 2018

With Ethernet/IP (Ethernet Industrial Protocol), a request to an object is identified inside the path by its class number, instance number, and attribute number. Class identifies which type of object is being referenced, and instance defines the particular object of that type. For example, a carton of eggs contains twelve objects. These objects are instances 1 through 12 of class Egg. And each object may have one or more attributes. In our egg example, attributes 1 and - 2  could be size and color.

Get all attributes retrieve all the attributes of one instance, and get single attribute retrieve only the selected attribute.
