Ask a Question

I see a block in 984 LL with a name of FN01, what does it do?

The designation FNxx denotes a custom loadable developed by resources outside of Schneider (Modicon)
The logic inside the block would have been developed using C or C++ Language. Schneider will not have a copy of the
source code as in  most cases it will be proprietary. XX can be any number between 01 - FF.

The code inside the block cannot be viewed using traditional programming software such as NxT, PW32, Concept or Unity.
If you encounter a block with an FNxx designation it would be advisable to ask the end user if he has any documentation which
explains how the block works or what unique functionality is achieved when the FNxx is executed in logic.
