Published date: 05 June 2019

Issue:
How can we regain some disk space on the HMIG5U?

Product Line:
HMIG5U,  HMIG5U2

Resolution:
One way to regain some disk space on the HMIG5U's CFast card is to disable the Hibernation feature in Windows.

To do so, start a command prompt and type the following:
powercfg -h off

This will open up 3GB of free space on the CFAST card.

If the hibernation feature is required, then consider moving to the 32GB CFast system card.
