On the ATV930 and other drives, would the torque measurement be affected by the presence of a sine wave filter between the drive and the motor?
In some cases, output filtering could shift the current and possibly make it harder to get an accurate torque reading.
Resolution:
The torque measurement will not be affected by the presence of a sine wave filter between the drive and the motor. Actually, it makes torque measurement's value better.
The current scope will be actual SIN/COS wave with sine wave filter. Without sine wave filter, the output current will have some peak value, which probably affects the accuracy of current.
The torque is directly proportional to current (M∝I).
