What is error 7331 on Lexium 05 ?

Published date: 28 May 2019

Error 7331 is an indication that the drive cannot read the motor encoder data plate.
This fault will occur generally occur if the encoder cable is faulty and does not have a good connection to the motor encoder.
Check for continuity of the all the conductors within the encoder cable.

This error can also occur if the motor encoder is faulty or if the drive is faulty and has an internal issue with reading the motor encoder.
If the encoder cable is not the root cause of the fault it will be necessary to substitute the motor and/or the Lexium 05 servo drive to determine which hardware item is the actual cause of the error.
