Error 1500: "Another installation is in progress" error appears when trying to uninstall Vijeo Designer.

This error is not a problem specifically with Vijeo Designer software itself. It is however an issue with your Windows Installer service in your Windows operating system. To resolve this issue, please follow this procedure:

1) Goto the Control Panel and open the Adminstrative Tools
2) Open the Services 
3) Find the Windows Installer Service and disable it.
4) Reboot the PC
5) Go back to find the Windows Installer Service and re-enable it
6) Once it is renabled, re-start the Windows Installer Service
