What is the typical operating time of the trip output of the Sepam relay?
Sepam cycles every 14ms, this includes Sepam analysis of the situation, sending of signal, and closing of contact. This means the fastest response time is 14ms. But it is also possible that the signal from the fault that was detected will miss the current cycle then it will fall in the next cycle. Therefore, it can be accounted, in a worst case scenario, that the minimum response time will be 28ms (2 cycles, 14ms x 2).
