What is error E1106 on Lexium 32 ?

Published date: 28 May 2019

Error E1106 seen on the display of Lexium 32 is caused when a command is sent to the drive which is not permissible while the power stage of the drive is active.
Some parameters and commands are not permissible to be written to the drive when the drive is in an enabled state or the drive will indicate error E1106 if this event occurs.

For example, it is not permissible to write to the parameter to modify the scaling of the Encoder Simulation output (ESIM) of the drive when the drive is in an enable state. Attempting to do so would result in E1106

The remedy is to change the state of the drive to disabled and then repeat the command which has caused error E1106
