What are the basic wiring connections for the ATV212 drive?
Issue:
Basic wiring for the ATV212 drive.
Product line:
ATV212, Altivar 212
Environment:
All models
Cause:
Limited wiring details provided with the drive.
Resolution:
The minimum requirements to remotely operate an ATV212 drive are a run command and a speed reference. By default from the factory, terminal F is the run forward input. VIA to CC is the default analog input for a 0-10Vdc speed reference.
P24 provides 24Vdc from an internal power supply, so use a dry contact closure on P24 to F.
**Note these values and assignments can be changed in the Programming. These are the default settings only, with CMOd = 0 and FMOd = 1.
