How can I correct Concept error "1672- TCP/IP connect timed out"?

What is the state of the LAN ST light?   Is it solid?
  -  Steady blink.  Check the IP address.
  -  3 flashes.  Cable disconnected?
  -  4 flashes - Duplicate IP address.
  -  5 flashes - No IP.
  -  6 flashes - Default IP.

The customer should be using a crossover cable if he is connected directly to the PLC.
Is the subnet mask compatible with that of the PLC?
If the customer is trying to connect to the Concept simulator, disable any wireless cards.
