Windows Script Host Error During System Manager Software (SMS) v 4.2 Upgrade - There is no file extension in "C:\DOCUME~1\Administrator\Local"

This applies to any version of System Manager Software (SMS) version 4.2.

This issue is related to the path of the temp files directory. If this path name is too long or contains spaces, the install has trouble resolving the path and cannot create the temporary files necessary for the install.

To resolve the issue, change the location of the Windows temp files directory to a path without spaces. To do this, right click on My Computer and go to Properties. Select the Advanced tab. Click on Environment Variables. "Edit" the paths for both the TMP and TEMP variables to a location that does not have any spaces in the path name (Ex: C:\Temp). Run the install again.
