Resolution
*Warning: Irreparable database damage can occur. This procedure should only be performed by users familiar with SQL Server Management Studio. Databases should be backed up prior to performing this procedure.*
The following SQL statement can be used in the Management Console to view the current connection requests for a site.

Use ION_Network
SELECT *
FROM  ConnectionRequest
JOIN  Port ON ConnectionRequest.PortID = Port.ID

To determine the Port ID for a site of interest:
  • SELECT * from Port where name like '[name of device or site of interest]'
To view the request for the site, in which is the value determined in the command above:
  • SELECT * from ConnectionRequest where PortID = [port_id]

NOTES:
  • The Priority field contains a value that the Scheduler component uses to determine whether one connection/disconnection request can preempt another one.  For example, manual requests will always have a priority of 2000, while a scheduled request will be, by default, assigned a value of 10.  Thus a manual disconnect request will preempt a scheduled connection, while a scheduled disconnect request will not disconnect a site that has been connected manually.
  • If a scheduled modem site on a particular com port has been connected manually, and not disconnected manually, any scheduled connections/disconnections for that com port will not be executed until that site is disconnected manually.
  • If a schedule for a given site does not appear to be executing as expected, a good starting point for trouble-shooting is to view the connection requests for this site.  Perhaps a higher priority request for this site is preventing the schedule from proceeding.
