How to setup an IP address on a 170ENT11002 using the Concept configuration tool.

1. Temporally change the IP address of your laptop or PC to the IP scheme of your new ENT module. (ex: 192.168.30.2)
2. Connect a crossover cat5 cable from your PC to the ENT module.
3. Open the Ethernet Configuration tool located in <Start> <All Programs> <Concept>.



4.Select Add.



4. Enter the last octet of the new IP address where it says Node and modules MAC address then press OK.



6. Press the Bootp button to start the bootp server and then recycle power to the ENT module. You will noticed that the Status will change from unknown to assigned after the module's power up cycle completes.
7. Press the Bootp button to stop the bootp server.



8. Ping the new IP address from a DOS prompt.



9. Double click on node number on main screen and on new screen press Connect to module



10.Press the Flash IP address button then press OK. (This permanently saves the IP address to flash ram)



11.The status should have changed to OK



12.Final check is to recycle power on the module and after complete power up cycle the RUN light should be on solid which tell you it has an IP address stored in flash ram.
13.Now you should be able to ping the new stored IP address.
