When Installing Event Notification Solution 6.4 (ENS)/Active Pager Module 6.4 (APM), Registering the Hot StandBy times out even though PLScada isn't installed

Goals and Symptoms

Note: This more likely to occur with an upgrade from APM 6.1, 6.2, or 6.3

The POWERLOGICES instance is chosen during the install.
The install recognizes PLScada isn't installed,

However, the Hot Standby times out, and everything else succeeds.
Even though the Hot StandBy is not utilized, it times out with no reason of failure

The only options we have are "Try Again" and "Cancel".

Click Cancel.

In the PowerLogic eSolutions Web page, Setup>ENS Setup, If any of the links on the left attempt to be viewed, the following error is displayed:

"Login failed for user ENS. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL server connection"

The links on the left hand side of the setup page yield the following error messages:

OPC Server
This page appears normal, but when the OPC server tries to be applied, the following error appears:

"There was a problem saving your selections. Please check the diagnostic log"

"Cannot find table 0"

Relay & Recipient, Relay Templates

"Login failed for use 'ENS'. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection"

"The IListSource does not contain any data sources"

In the Diagnostics tab, it will display "No Data to Display",

Causes and Fixes

This can be caused if the localhost\POWERLOGICES Instance is not using Mixed Mode Authentication.

Open SQL Management Studio.
Connect to the localhost\POWERLOGICES instance
Right click on the Instance, and go to Properties

Go to Security, and select SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode

Click OK,
Restart the SQL Server (POWERLOGICES) service.

Run the install executable for ENS 6.4/ APM 6.4 software.
Click "Configure" to perform a repair of ENS/APM.

Choose the POWERLOGICES instance again.
Repair the OPC Core Components if prompted.

The Hot StandBy service will register successfully and the web page errors will no longer occur.
