How to back up Tenant Metering Software Commercial Edition (TMSCE) databases on a scheduled basis

Goals and Symptoms

The user wants to have TMSCE databases backed up at a regular interval.

Causes and Fixes


Place the attached files in the C:\MSSQL2005\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Backup location and create a Windows Scheduled Task to run the batch file (TMS Database Backup.bat) on a scheduled basis. Make sure a local admin account is used when scheduling the task.

Note: This batch file will back up the databases to the C:\MSSQL2005\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Backup\ folder
