What is the maximum distance between two nodes in a Momentum Ibus or Interbus-S network?

Issue:
Maximum distance between Interbus nodes on a Momentum system.

Product line:
Momentum

Cause:
Communication length to prevent faults and dropouts on the Interbus network.

Resolution:
The maximum distance between nodes are:
1. Shielded twisted pair is 400 Meters
2. LWL HCS fiber (200/230 um) is 300 Meters.
3. LWL Polymer fiber (980/1000 um) is 50 Meters.

Note: In a fiber network, the minimum distance between nodes are 1 meter.
There is no minimum distance between nodes on a twisted pair network.
