    Description:

Paradoxically, although the neutral conductor is a live conductor, current should never be allowed to circulate in it. Nevertheless, there has been renewed interest in the neutral conductor in relation to the proliferation of electronic loads, the circulation of harmonic currents and the risk of overloads. Within this context, the aim of this document is to describe the current situation regarding typical and recommended installation rules with respect to breaking, protecting and dimensioning the neutral conductor.
