This June, join us in celebrating the LGBT+ community. At Schneider, we stand up for equal rights and fair treatment for LGBT+ people everywhere. Learn more about our inclusive culture from those who know best – our employees.
Through the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon, we want to send a strong message of gender equality and togetherness. Every year, the race is an opportunity for Schneider Electric to level the playing field between men and women and raise awareness on the HeForShe campaign.
In addition to our CEO, all of our country leaders have personally endorsed the UN's Women's Empowerment Principles. Schneider Electric is the first multi-national company to achieve this 100% commitment across its leadership team.
At Schneider Electric, we know that empowering women in energy-scarce communities is critical, given the key role that they play in managing resources. This interplay between women’s rights, energy access and economic prosperity is at the heart of what we want to achieve at the One Planet Summit 2019.
This Pride Month, join us in celebrating the LGBT+ community
At Schneider, Pride Month is an opportunity for us to celebrate LGBT+ individuals in all their diversity and uniqueness and recognize their contribution to our organization.
As a global company, we have pledged to further LGBT+ inclusion in the workplace and foster a company culture where everyone feels free to be their unique self, no matter who they are. This is why we need allies. Because we know that allyship is key to LGBT+ inclusion, we aim to make ally a verb, not a noun: we believe allyship is about walking the talk and being vocal about your support.
This Pride Month, join us in being agents of change.
Stand up to hurtful behaviors
At Schneider, we have a zero-tolerance policy against harassment. Do not be bystanders: if you witness someone making a derogatory remark or an insulting joke, always say something.
Being an ally is about educating yourself. We strive to listen with empathy to our LGBT+ colleagues, to learn from them on how we can best support them.
Be an advocate
We encourage our employees to be advocates for the LGBT+ community, because we know that vocal allies can have a big impact in shifting mentalities and raising awareness.
Diversity is our heritage and our future. Be part of it.
At Schneider Electric, diversity is an integral part of our history, culture, and identity. Inclusion is the way we treat and perceive all differences. We want to create an inclusive culture where all forms of diversity are seen as real value for the company.
Our inclusive Global Family Leave policy supports the diverse needs of all our people. So no matter who you are, where in the world you live or how you manage your unique life and work, you can always be at your best.
Manage Your Unique Life and Work
“We are proud to be the first in our industry to make such a global commitment.” Jean-Pascal Tricoire, CEO
Our Global Family Leave Policy includes key life stages for welcoming a new baby, taking care of sick or elderly family members, and mourning the loss of a family member. Recognizing that definition of family, life and work are changing every day, we have defined “leave” and “family” in an inclusive way.
