| KNX consists of a twin-core bus line and bus-compatible installation devices such as sensors, actuators and system components, that are connected to it.
Sensors record information that is transmitted to the bus in the form of a data telegram. Sensors are e.g. KNX pushbuttons and binary inputs for connecting floating contacts.
Sensors are selected depending on the required application.
The application program is loaded into the devices together with the project design and commissioning software ETS via the USB interface of a PC and the bus.
