The Bali Conference held on 3-14 November for Schneider Electric marks the end of 2007, the year of the environment and energy efficiency. The Group made a considerable investment in the field throughout 2007.
In April, Schneider Electric was the first industrial company to sign the Ecological Pact put forward by French environmentalist, Nicolas Hulot.
In August, Schneider Electric's Building Automation activity joined the Clinton Climate Initiative, and in September, the Group strengthened its partnership with the International Polar Foundation by providing power distribution and building management for the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica, the first ever zero-emissions scientific research station.
A series of commitments which comes to complete all the solutions elaborated by the Group for a successful, safe and profitable energy allowing his customers to consume better and consuming less.
