Education
Graduate of France’s prestigious Hautes Etudes Commerciales business school (HEC 1977), post-graduate degree in applied economics from University of Paris (Dauphine).
Professional experience
Mr. Bouchut began his career in 1979 with Citibank Paris. He left in 1987 to become Vice-President, Finance at Bankers Trust France SA. In 1988, he joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant in the Corporate Finance and Integrated Logistics practices. In 1990, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Casino, a position he left to become Managing Director in 2005. Mr. Bouchut joined Schneider Electric as Executive Vice-President, Finance & Control – Legal Affairs in May 2005. In May 2006, the Supervisory Board also appointed Pierre Bouchut member of the Management Board along with Jean-Pascal Tricoire. In July 2006, he was named Chief Financial Officer.
