Why are the generated bills in eSight software is showing 0-dollar amount?

Why are the generated bills in eSight software is showing 0-dollar amount?

Cause
User is generating bills for specific period and they know there is cumulative kWh for that period. However, when user generates the bills, it’s showing 0-dollar amount.  

Environment
Generating bills in eSight.

Resolution
This particular issue has been seen if the contract is expired. Follow the steps below in order to verify the status of the contract.

First, customer needs to find out what contract they have associated with the meter which they are generating report against. This can be found from Tree Configuration under Configuration tab (as shown in picture below).


Once you know the revenue contract associated with that meter, navigate to Contracts tab and click on Contracts in order to see the status of contract.


Customer can verify if the contract has been expired or not. If the contract is expired, customer can edit the contract and extend the “From” and “To” data as shown below.
Once, the contract is valid, customer will be able to see the reports with dollar amount.
