Error 1500: Another installation is in progress error appears when trying to uninstall Vijeo Designer

This error is not a problem with Vijeo Designer. It is however an issue with you Windows Installer service in Windows. To resolve this issue, please follow this procedure:

1) Goto the Control Panel and open the Adminstrative Tools
2) Open the Services 
3) Find the Windows Installer Service and disable it.
4) Reboot the PC
5) Go back to find the Windows Installer Service and re-enable it
6) Once it is renabled, re-start the Windows Installer Service
