Ask a Question

Does Schneider Electric offer a suitable replacement for Berger Lahr Twinline Servo drives?

The basic answer to this question in yes, Berger Lahr Twinline servo drives can be replaced by Lexium 32 M

However, it must also be noted that when upgrading to a new model of servo drive that changes to the PLC program will most likely be required.

In cases in which the servo drive is being controlled via fieldbus such as, CAN, Profibus or other fieldbus technologies, changes to the PLC program are likely to be required.
For the upgrade to Lexium 32M to be successful you must be able to modify the PLC program to accommodate the new hardware.

This is not the case if the servo drive is being controlled via Analog signals.
If the drive is being controlled via Analog Signals then changes to the PLC program will most likely not be required.
