Engineering Client Logon Failure

When opening Management Console on a PME Engineering Client, the user receives the following error after entering their logon credentials.

"Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password"

This error is caused by the Windows account on the Engineering Client not having access to the file share (ION-Ent) on the Primary Server.

Ensure the Windows user has permissions to the file share on the Primary Server. In a Domain environment, it is possible the user does have permission, but is attempting to open Management Console using "Run as Administrator". If the local Administrator account on the Engineering Client has not been given access to the file share, this error will occur. Opening Management Console with out selecting "Run as Administrator" will allow it to work.
