Power Monitoring Expert - I have changed the ION login password on my distributed database system and now I can't log in to any Vista or Management Console

Database Manager offers an option to 'Modify login...'. This allows you to change the ION login password from the default. Should this password be changed, the new password is written to a Windows registry value in encrypted form. Should you have a distributed system, in which the databases, and thus Database Manager, are on a different server than the PME applications, it is necessay to make a manual modification to the Windows register on these different servers.
To do this, you will need to create a .reg file by exporting the registry value from the database server, and then run the .reg file on each the other computers in your system - Primary servers and Engineering Clients.
See the attached screen capture for the location of the registry value that you need to export. Save the export to a file, copy this file to the other computers in your system, then double click on the file to add the required registry value.
Once this is done, you will need to restart the ION services on your Primary Server.
