StruxureWare PowerMonitoring 7.0.x - Engineering Client - Vista - Can not access diagram from Engineering Client

Issue:
After opening Vista on an Engineering Client the user is unable to access any diagrams.

When attempting to open Management Console a user may receive an "Incorrect Password" error message even though the correct password was entered.

StruxureWare PowerMonitoring 7.0.x

Environment:
StruxureWare PowerMonitoring Vista Application

Cause:
The Windows user account on the Engineering Client needs to have Read/Write privileges to the ION-Ent share directory from the Primary Server.

If the Engineering client and Primary Server have the same local Windows user login and password (local user on both Engineering Client and Server), and this account has appropriate privileges on the ION-Ent share directory the Engineering Client will be able to access the Primary Server files.

If the password for this Windows account was changed on either the Engineering client or the Primary Server but not both, this will cause the Engineering Client to lose access to the ION-Ent share directory on the Primary Server. 

Resolution:
Ensure that the password for the Windows account matches on both the Primary Server and the Engineering Client.
