Resolution:

The Ethernet -> Modbus_Modbus_TCP_Slave_Device object enables the user to easily configure the M258/LMC058 as a Modbus/TCP slave device. When configuring a a M258/LMC058 as a Slave device it is worth noting that the allocation of %IW and %QW is limited to 40 words. Also be aware that the allocated  %IW and %QW words are unavailable for Vijeo Designer RunTime to read. When setting up communications between the M258/LMC058 and a Magelis HMI there is no need to use the Modbus_TCP_Slave object.
