A user may need to know the maximum pulse frequency that the on-board digital input of a PM800 can receive?
C1 and S1 (ports 6 and 7) on the PM800 series meter.
While wiring mechanical meters or other solid state devices which are capable of sending digital pulses to indicate a change of their states, one might be interested to know, what is the maximum frequency of the incoming pulse train the PM800 is capable of accepting.
For the on-board digital input ports of the PM800 series meters, the maximum frequency of the incoming pulse train is 25 Hz.
The minimum pulse width was, found at 25 Hz, to have a duty cycle of approximately 10% (4 ms) (all tests were done at 24 V).
