MB+ Peer cop communication not working with an Advantys STBNMP2212
Not able to read and write data to an Advantys STBNMP2212 via peer cop
Advantys STB connected to a MB+ network
The most common reasons are as follows:
1. The Peer Cop configuration has to be setup as Global Inputs and Specific Outputs.
2. The master device has to be identified in the configuration file of the Advantys Modbus Plus NIM (network interface module) and downloaded to the NIM. Using the Advantys configuration software, double click on the NIM, which will give you access to the Parameters list. The Fieldbus Handler Control Word indicates the Modbus Plus address of the master device. The default is 0, which corresponds to a Modbus Plus address of 1 for the master device(offset of -1). This is the only master device that will be able to write to any output words of the STBNMP2212. All Modbus Plus devices will be able to read any input words of the NIM.
