Do all of the split-core current transformers (CTs) have to be installed on a Branch Circuit Power Monitor (BCPMSC)?
For the BCM and BCPM devices, the CTs are connected to daughter boards that get connected via ribbon cable to the main circuit board. In either case, all of the split-core CTs do not have to be installed, it is sufficient to install just the ones that have a circuit to monitor. If a BCPM or BCM is ordered with 12 CT's and later there is a need to monitor 30 circuits, then only the additional CTs need to be purchased and added.
Note that the CT's initially purchased with the BCPM or BCM are the CTs the main circuit board are calibrated for, and are the only CT's that will meet the given accuracy specifications when measured by the BCPM or BCM.
