Causes and Fixes
The EGX300 firmware was initially incorrect in that it was assumed both the 50A and 100A registers maintained the same programming. This error was corrected in the EGX300 firmware 4.3 and above.
The document for the 50A version says: "Registers 1-42 represent the real-time current for each channel (circuit) expressed in milliamps (10000 = 10.000Amps)"
The document for the 100A version says this "Registers 1-42 represent the real-time current for each channel (circuit) expressed in 10s of milliamps (1000 = 10.00 Amps)"
The issue has been resolved with the release of firmware version 4.3 and above. Update the firmware in the EGX300 to 4.3 or greater to resolve the issue. The firmware now separates the BCM into two different devices, one for the 50A and one for the 100A model. You will need to select the correct model type and the real time current values will be corrected.
