Yes it is possible to customize the column headings of data recorders in ION VIP. Suppose the customer has multiple data recorders pulling data from different meters and the customer wants to aggregate measurements from various data recorders in a single table in Vista and name the headings accordingly.
For example, if we have two data recorders on VIP, each of them pulling V ln a from two different meters, Vista will label 1st measurement as Vln a and 2nd measurement as ~Vln a. This type of column heading is not very helpful. Instead, if we can label the second measurement something as Vln a 2nd 7650 then it would increase readability of the table.
The customer will have to edit the SQL script on Vista for obtaining desired column headinsg. The idea is illustrated below:
