How is Energy calculated in Enercept and Energy Meters using the Integer registers?

Energy is stored over a 2 16 bit registers. Like all the Integer registers in the Enercept/Energy meters, a multiplier must be applied.
The multiplier for the Least significant register(LSR) is used.
Below are two examples with a 3020E012(100A model):
Firstly, the multiplier for the 100A Enercept for the register 1 is 0.0078125

Register: Decimal Value -> binary value
1: 1769 -> 0000011011101001
2: 204 -> 11001100

32 bit 110011000000011011101001 as an integer yields 13371113
Multiplied by the 100A multipler, 13371113 * 0.0078125 = 104461.820 kwh

OR mathematically represented:

Register: Decimal Value -> binary value
1: 1769 -> 0000011011101001
2: 204 -> 11001100

(204*65536+1769)*0.0078125 = 104461.820 kwh
