System Manager Software (SMS) Web Client (smsweb) shows "No Devices" when trying to view the meter(s) real time readings

Goals and Symptoms

When trying to view Meters, Bar Charts, Tables, or Real Time Trends, "No Devices" populates where the list of devices should be.

Causes and Fixes


This can be caused when the SMS Configuration Utility is pointing to a different system than the one that's online.


1. Go to Start>Programs>PowerLogic>Tools>SMS Config Utility
2. Go to the Diagnostics tab.
3. Select the correct system name in the drop down box.
4. Restart the PowerLogic Network Server (PLNS) Service.
