"Destination DLL disabled" error in Advanced Reports (AR) when scheduling a report

When scheduling a report and choosing a destination in Advanced Reports, the report fails with one of the following error messages:

Causes and Fixes


The Crystal Report Job Server's SMTP, FTP, or Unmanaged Disk destinations are disabled. Note: These destinations are disabled by default.


Enable the Crystal Report Job Server's destinations

1. In Advanced Reports, click on the 'Admin' tab
2. From the Crystal Enterprise Admin Launchpad, click 'Crystal Management Console' (CMC)
2. Log in to the CMC using an Administrator account
3. Click on 'Servers'
4. Click 'servername.reportjobserver'
5. Click the 'Destinations' tab
6. Place a checkmark in each box under 'Selected' and click on 'Enable'
7. By clicking on DiskUnmanaged, FTP, or SMTP, default settings such as folder location, FTP Host, and SMTP server can be configured
