ION Setup 2.0,, ION7500, ION7550,ION 7600, ION7650, ION8400, ION8500
By default IONSetup does not provide a way to manually trigger a waveform.
The recommended solution is to upgrade to aversion of ION Setup 3.0 which has included the manual waveform trigger.
If an upgrade to ION Setup 2.0 is not possible then the below solution will work:
What ION Setup displays is determined by the setup tables. Look in the IONSetup/tables directory and you will see one subdirectory for each meter type. Inside you can find a file called Enables.pml.
Edit this Enables.pml:
1. Replace the Rows=5 line with Rows=6
2. Add into Page1 after the R5C4 entry:
The handle 0x68b9 is the handle of the External Pulse module that triggers waveforms on the 7500/7600/8400/8500 meters.
