No, but the actual Firmware and CoPro versions that are in the CPU do need to match. The PV (Product Version) and RL (Release) can be different. The SV ( Software Version) is indicative of the firmware version that was shipped in the PLC from the factory. If the SV markings do not match, you need to ensure that the loaded firmware/copro is the same.
