What does error E5457 on a Lexium 32 drive indicate?

E5457 seen on Lexium 32 is an indication that the memory card has an illegal data length.
The Lexium 32 drive reads the memory card and expects to find 16kbyte of memory size.
If the memory size does not equal 16kbyte then E5457 is displayed.
This error will occur if a memory card other than VW3M8705 is used or if the VW3M8705 that is inserted is defective.
