Goals and Symptoms
This resolution applies to Lexium 32 C and Lexium 32 M with optional I/O module.
There may be applications in which the Lexium32 is required to perform a velocity move based on an analog input while also controlling the amount of torque developed in this move via the second analog input.
As well, there may be instances in which a torque move is required based on an analog input with velocity limitation controlled by the second analog input.
Causes and Fixes
It is possible to limit the torque with an analog input, if you´re working in speed mode via analog input,
and also possible to limit the speed if you´re working in torque mode.
To accomplish a velocity move with torque limitation you must set the function of one analog input as "Target Velocity" and the second analog input as "Current Limitation".
These setting are found in the analog input configuration section of Lexium 32C or Lexium 32M with I/O expansion module.
To accomplish a torque move with velocity limitation you must set the function of one analog input as "Velocity Limitation" and the second analog input as "Target Current "
