Causes and Fixes

The syntax of the IN Parameter of the ADDM block when using the DATA_EXCH block to communicate to a Modbus device through a TSXETG100 is displayed in the screen shot below.

The breakdown of the IN string 'Ethernet_1{192.168.10.22}3.TCP.MBS' is as follows:

Ethernet_1 - Name of the Ethernet Network interface on M340 to send request out
{192.168.10.22} - The IP address of the TSXETG100 ModbusTCP to Modbus bridge
3.TCP.MBS - the 3 is the Modbus address and the TCP.MBS specifies using a Modbus TCP request

NOTE- For more information on using the DATA_EXCH function with M340 reference Resolution Number: 197874
