Discuss the requirements for making an on the fly configuration change (CCOTF) to a Unity HSBY system.
Facts and Changes
Unity 4.1 offers a client the ability to make "I/O Map" changes to a running HSBY system. Changes are restricted to the I/O Map of an existing RIO drop.
Modules may be added, removed or have changes made to the Module Parameter screens in any previously configured drop. You cannot add a new RIO drop or expand the CPU configuration size where %M,%I,%IW,%MW is concerned.
Causes and Fixes
There are minimum requirements which must be met in order to take advantage of this feature. 1: You must be a Unity 4.1 user. 2: The CPU 67160 and its Ethernet coprocessor must use OS version 2.70 or later. * 3: The CRP93x 00 and CRA93x 00 must use OS version 2.00 or later. * 4: The user must select the "Online modifications in run" option during CPU 67160 configuration. * This firmware is available on the Unity OS 2.70 CD
