XBTGT: How to connect XBTGT COM1 or COM2 to PC COM1 using Hyperterminal and ScriptDriver
Causes and Fixes
It is possible to successfully set up communication between HyperTerminal and the XBTGT 2130 on both of the target's COM ports.
Using COM1 is much simpler since no signal conversion is required and you can use standard Schneider cables.
COM2 is possible, but it requires creating two custom cables and using a converter to change the signal from RS-485 to RS-232.
Details for both setups can be found in the attached Word document and sample project.
