Ask a Question

What is the smallest subnet mask that can be used with the Twido TWDLCAE40DRF PLC?

The Twido Software will allow the following Class C subnet masks:
255.255.255.128
255.255.255.192
255.255.255.224
255.255.255.240
BUT it does not allow 255.255.255.248. With Twido, it is not possible to define a subnet consisting of 8 slaves or less.
The smallest subnet mask accepted by the Twido PLC is 255.255.255.240. This is equivalent to a subnet consisting of 16 slaves.
